My Experience Through 1st Quarter

Through my high school journey, I have gained personal learnings and academic learnings. As a high school student, I learn to handle these tough challenges and manage my own time. I also realized that listening, taking notes, and reviewing help me improve in studying. Additionally, I discovered that it is acceptable to make mistakes for the first time because making mistakes improves my understanding of the situations. High school is not only to pass exams and get good grades, but it also teaches me to get prepared for my own future life.

High school isn’t easy for me to handle these challenges. One of the most difficult challenges that I’ve encountered is dealing with my own projects. Sometimes, I pressured myself just to finish these projects earlier than usual. Some projects can be difficult, and I struggled to work on these projects. Managing my own time is not that easy for me sometimes. There were times that I felt stressed and tired, and I even lost my own motivations. Balancing academic responsibilities and personal responsibilities is difficult for me. Another challenge that I’ve encountered is accepting my own failures. Receiving low grades made me question my own abilities, and sometimes it decreases my own confidence. Additionally, I'm struggling to learn some of the subjects. Some of them were difficult to understand.

These are my strategies to handle these challenges easily. I made my own schedule and organized them from easiest to hardest work so I can manage my own time very well. This can also lessen my stress and anxiety and help me avoid cramming. I should also take a small break to avoid burnout. I must also accept my own failures and move on. I can also improve my own skills. I should also control my emotions and take care of my mental health. Getting help from my own peers or my family instead of hiding my own struggles. I can also ask my teachers about the part that I don’t understand.

Moving on, I will continue to improve my study habits, stay consistent in managing my own time, and improve my own skills. I will also continue to focus on studying. I will keep learning and try my best and not give up easily whenever I’m dealing with tough situations. I will also try to maintain good mental health and lessen my stress and anxiety. Being a high school student made me realize that high school is not all about getting good grades but also about being prepared for the future.
