Continuous Academic Journey

 Continuous Academic Journey

This second quarter experience has been a challenging journey for me. I learned new lessons not only in academics but improving my discipline and time management. Some subjects are a lot harder, like science, math, and basic electronics, but I asked for help from my classmates so I can understand better. My experience was mixed with happiness, stress, and growth.

At first, I felt nervous because I thought it would be harder than the first one. There were more lessons to study, activities to pass, and projects to finish. Sometimes, I really felt tired and wondered if I could finish these. However, as the days passed, I was able to manage my own time more effectively and push myself to keep going. I came to see that if I remain focused and determined, I can succeed even in difficult situations.

There were times that I failed and made mistakes. I didn't even get a high score and sometimes I felt disappointed to myself. Instead of giving up, I reflect myself to improve and learn. Failure does not mean its not an end but it is a chance to grow myself and improve next time. My teachers plays a big role in guiding me and made us believe in ourselves.

In a way, I learned patience, diligence, and thankfulness from my second quarter experience in addition to academic lessons. Even though I had difficulties, I also grew and changed. I gained more self-control, accountability, and empathy for other people. Above all, I gained confidence and learnt to value the process rather than the outcome. My strength and patience were put to the test during the second quarter, but it also demonstrated my growth. I take all of these lessons with me into the upcoming quarter, prepared to take on new obstacles with a more resilient heart and optimistic outlook.
